Joshua

In chapter 5 It reads

2 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again.
3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloth.

Now that doesn't sound like anything great but to me it is a great example of obedience. He did not wait a day or a minute he went to work right then doing it whole heartedly.

8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they had recovered. That verse just sounded funny to me.
