I just opened up my bible today and I was in proverbs chapter 17 and a couple of verses stuck out.
Evil people listen to evil words. Liars pay attention to cruel words. That was verse 4. I know why they listen to evil word more than true Godly advice. Have you ever watched a movie and heard a line in that movie said by someone else. I have and I recognize it. Then have you read your bible and heard someone say something in the bible that you read? Do you recognize it? People remember what they like.
Old people are proud of their grandchildren, and children are proud of their parents. This was just a funny one that I like and I know it is true.
A wise person will learn more from a warning than a fool will learn from a hundred lashings. Well that makes me think if I am wise. Dad is warning man supreme and sometimes we still get spanked witch means that I am not a very wise man. Ask yourselves that question are you a wise man?
