Self - Denial, Pride, and Lust

We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Self-Denial, We must bear with the scruples of the weak or the weakness of the weak. The translation for scruples is an uneasy feeling arising from conscience or principle that tends to hinder action. So We who are strong ought to bear with the uneasy feelings of the weak and not to please ourselves. So we must be a help and a servant not only pleasing ourselves. Like helping Maffe put on his jacket so he can go out in the snow and play instead of putting on my jacket as fast as I can so I can be out faster.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 1 John 2:16.
The bible is often very clear despite what people say about it being confusing. It listed 2 kinds of lust and made it so that no one can ask any question because everything is clear. So pride and lust is bad or of this world. Of this world means bad because if you are a Christian you want to be like God. I started my book of verses so everyone knows I am really doing it.
