Why did God create us?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Today I thought of Noah's ark and how everyone died during the flood. God created us and destroyed us. He created us to rule the earth happily but we messed it up. We were Gods kings and queens until we sinned.

So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. Genesis 6:13

God was fed up with us. How did it get so bad?!!! Someone decided that they didn't like Gods way and just stopped following Him. Then he didn't teach his grand children and they didn't know. We were helpers of God and we were supposed to help him rule earth and to give God glory. but we messed ourselves up and have become our own form of satan, not following GOD.
