Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15

This means that if you speak the truth in love we will be more like Jesus. That is what we want but just because we don't lie that wont do everything. Truth = The word of God.
It says in John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. If His word is truth then the verse could also go like this: Instead speaking the word of God in love so that others might accompany you to heaven, we will in all things become more Christ like for this is what we should wish.

Somthin like that, If you don't agree let me know. Notice that you never find a verse in the bible that says: If you have a lot of money God will bless you or Make money and it will go well with you. NO God wants us to grow spiritually not in wealth money wise. We should press on toward the goal in which God is calling me heavenward.
