Supporters

But Joash replied to the hostile crowd around him, "Are you going to plead Baal's cause? Are you trying to save him? Whoever fights for him shall be put to death by morning! If Baal really is a god, he can defend himself when someone breaks down his altar." Judges 6:31

This was sort of used against Jesus when He was crucified. Cesar said "if you are the son of God save yourself and come down. Jesus did indeed save himself but not before death.

Baal was not saved and could not save itself because IT was only a statue, made by man. Joash made guarantees that Baal's defenders would be dead if they kept this up. It is funny how God supports his supporters. There are supporters that support things that cant support them back.
That is like keeping software on your computer that you don't need! It can only do negative things!
