Martha

Martha loved Jesus so much and she would do anything for him. Her problem was that she was so caught up in serving Jesus that she never had a chance to get to know him better. She needed to be still! Martha's work started with gladness and joy, but in went down into frustration and envy. The more Martha worked the more frustrated she was. Her service was not wrong but she just needed to be still and listen to Jesus and enjoy his presence.

Jesus said that your first priority should be him. If we allow work to get in the way that is wrong. You may think well if I don't do this it wont get done! That is true but work can become too important. We should prioritize things.
