ARG!

I have not posted in so long! I really need to do better.

Last night I was thinking of how much power Elisha must have had because everything that he prayed for seemed to happen.
But as thought I realized that it is not Elisha's power that made his prayers come true it was God's. We should pray to align ourselves with God so that HE can demonstrate HIS power.
Prayer does not give us power. The purpose of prayer is not to try and convince God to help you or to change what is happening to you, it is to prepare you to be involved in God's doing or wants.
We should open our hearts in prayer to align ourselves with God's will.
