Fools say

Proverbs 10:19
When words are many, sin is not absent,
but he who holds his tongue is wise.

I have been thinking on the Scriptures about how talking is foolish.
I have come to a conclusion!
I always thought that to speak you have to be smart, and I still think that.
The Bible does not contradict that.
I think that what we say is foolish not speaking.
Speaking in itself is fine what we say is not, that is why we need to learn to be quiet, that is why we need to learn to think before we speak.
We need to listen to others not just our own heart.
We all like to say what is in our heart. Often what we think is not appropriate of respectful.
Paul says this:
1 Corinthians 9:27
No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

I need to beat my body to not say what I say, not to say what I think, not to think what I think, and to listen.
