It seems to be wrong, according to the bible, to  keep secrets.

Deuteronomy 27:15 (New International Version)

15 "Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol—a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman's hands—and sets it up in secret."

Psalm 10:8 (New International Version)

 He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent,
watching in secret for his victims.

Psalm 101:5 (New International Version)

 Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret,
him will I put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
him will I not endure.

There are tons of them and usually all things that are secret are seen as wrong.
This could be one of the sins of deceit. What do you think. I think it's surrcumstantial.

I don't think that the secret is bad...it's the motive that wants the person to keep it secret. You might want to re-read these and find out what the actual improper actions are...

I see now.
So it's not the secret, it's the reason for the secret.
