Zavi Zacharias told a story he had heard, about a couple living in a village, he wanted to take her in to the city. This was the first time she was going into the city, he was a businessman. He brought her in to enjoy the lights of the city and the fun of the city. And as he went away to do his business work for the day, he left her. She looked across the street and saw all the men walking here and there, going about their business. She began to live a teenage dream the she once had. She thinks this is her only opportunity and might never have it again. But she is afraid that if she crosses this line there would strife among the family. So she doesn't make the decision. He comes back takes her out to dinner, they check into a hotel for the night. They get into bed, his head hits the pillow and he is soundly asleep. All of a sudden she finds herself, while her husband is sound asleep, thinking of what an opportunity she had and how she would never have it again. She keeps thinking about it and she decides that she can slip out enjoy the lust of the night and return. so she does, when she returned she finds that she cannot sleep and she starts to cry louder and louder trying restrain her tears. Then her husband awakes and asks whats a matter. and she replied, Nothing just Nothing.

Ravi said "The loneliest moment in life is when you experience that which you thought would deliver the ultimate and it has let you down."

She felt lonely. She had experienced her dream, what more was there to life. She had done something that she thought would deliver ultimate happiness and it let her down. She like so many other people was let down by us. Everything that we make that people think will deliver the ultimate will let them down. The ultimate is God. So belief in Jesus is the ultimate. After that we have heaven.
