I havent posted in a long time...
I like to do my quiet time at night, it helps me to concentrate. I have started reading through the bible from Genesis to Revelation-From start to finish. I read last night about God testing Abraham and about the servant that chose Issac a wife.
I noticed the similarity in the test that God gave Abraham, and the task that God performed later.
God gave up his Son to die for us. Abraham had to give his son to God. It's almost as if God was finding out if God was important enough to man, so that God would give up his son. Like a trade.

Later, Abraham sent his trusted servant out to pick a wife for his son.
So the sevant asked God for a sign.

"Now let it be that the young woman to whom I say, ‘Please let down your pitcher that I may drink,’ and she says, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink’—let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. And by this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master.”

Now I think that this guy was kinda smart. He asked for a sign that would help him to succeed. His Camels needed water to get back home, so he asked for that sign.
Now the exact thing that he had asked for happened.

And the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please let me drink a little water from your pitcher.”

" So she said, “Drink, my lord.” Then she quickly let her pitcher down to her hand, and gave him a drink.  And when she had finished giving him a drink, she said, “I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking.”  Then she quickly emptied her pitcher into the trough, ran back to the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.  And the man, wondering at her, remained silent so as to know whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not."

He wondered if God had made his journey successful? It seems clear! I like this servant, he is very cautious.
And the bible says that he picked a pretty woman to.
