I have been trying to design our house. Talk about a defeating project! I just can't get it right. I show my idea to mom and ask her what needs to be changed. Usually there are 5 or 6 things that need changing. So then I ask what she likes that I should keep. "um...I like the porch." Wow. I'm not very god at this.
This last time though it was a little better, there were 4 things wrong. Victory! 1 thing eliminated. However I was quite surprised because I had thought that she loved my kitchen design. I was wrong. Whatever, that can be fixed. I had no idea how hard it would be to design a floorplan that was good  perfect. But the time will come. I am really looking forward to that time, when I finally get it right. That will feel so good.
Closing date on the land is May 31st.
     I'm trying to take up golf so I bought a set of clubs (cheap ones) then Dad remembered that we had some in the garage. Yay Dad. We went back to Dick's Sporting Goods to return them. I went with Dad and Mayf to watch them play. Mayf hits the ball good! Right down the middle every time... well almost every time. He is getting really good. Dad played good too. He landed  his just inches from the hole on the hardest par 3. Pretty cool. I got to drive one, so I wished my ball farewell thinking it would end up in the trees where we would never find it or something. But guess what, I hit it right down the middle (on my first time) and almost out drove Dad. OK that made my day.
     I got to play soccer last Friday with the guys from Dad's office. That was great, the blackbelt went with us he's getting better every time.
     Lane is awesome. I can talk to her about anything at anytime and she's never all put out about it or looking like she would totally rather be somewhere else. It is nice to have that. She also doesn't blow a secret. I don't know if it's good to have favorites among siblings but she's up there on the list.
