following Gods example

He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever. Psalm 18:50

Descendants meaning, basically children of God or believers in Christ.
That is a promise, everything that God says about Him being kind or showing favor to someone is a promise.
If God Loves us so much that he would make so many promises to love us than why don't we do the same to others? Why don't we love our brother and make promises of kindness to each other? We don't follow the example God has set before us.

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD. Psalm 4:6

People ask that God would be kind to us but are we kind? Do I examine myself to see if I am following Gods example. I don't think there is anything more important than following Gods example. It takes faith and deeds and every good thing because God was perfect. It is like a song I sometimes hear on the radio. If you don't have faith you have nothing at all, if you don't have deeds your faith will fall, you cant have one without the other. It is true. Imagine a man with a relationship with God but he never did anything to show that he was a Christian. He still said bad words and didn't think about if what he did was right before he did thing. Eventually he will forget God.
God had deeds and faith.
Later the song says if you don't have deeds you have nothing at all if you don't have faith your deeds will fall, you cant have one without the other and it is true!
