Judges 13:1-4
Again the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines for forty years.

Now there was a certain man from Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had no children.  And the Angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, “Indeed now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and bear a son.

I love how God comes to all these women and tells them what is going to happen. I think it is so that they can give praise to God in their childbirth and they could say God told me this was going to happen, then others might believe. It also makes me think of the reassurance that it must give to accually see, or phisically hear God. Or to even see one of God's messangers.

Now therefore, please be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean.

Now God is saying watch your diet. And don't stand on the curb of drinking wine.

For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”

Can you think of what it must be like to hear that your son is going to save a nation, or begin to save a nation.
That would be cool.
I really like it when God comes to people. I always like to imagine their reactions.
