I have been thinking a lot about my future. What I am going to do, how I could support a family, what my college major should be... and so on. I have wants and needs. I would like to have a job that I like (law enforcement or something) but I need to have a job that makes me capable of supporting a 8+ person family (finances, engineering....etc). I like dealing with money, but I don't think I want to be doing math for a living, not that that's all to the job, but I would really like to not have a job at a desk. Law enforcement, from what I have learned about it does not pay extremely well $30,000 - $55,000 or so. Average.
I have a dream to start up a sports facility. Indoor/outdoor. I would buy a little land, build some buildings, and have my own company. I could have my kids playing in some events or whatever. I think it would be an awesome thing to do. However, as a law enforcement officer how would I come up with the money to do that. Finances might make enough money.
One thought comes to mind. Stocks. I have read on the news about people who are millionaires just from stocks. Not everyone can do that those people are experts. But I think there is more than one way to make money. It might not all be LABOR. LABOR. LABOR. Work yourself to death. There could be more family friendly ways to go about MONEY. I am still thinking I have a few more years till college...
I am praying about it to. There are quite a few decisions in life. :)
