Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Romans 12:19

One of the hardest things for me is the matter of justice. When someone is wrong I usually want that person punished, especially if I was the victim. Sommetimes I become impatient if the guilty party is not punished quickly.

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

This verse says that we are not to seek vengance. We are to desire justice but not seek vengance upon injustice. Jesus takes responseability to see that justice is done.

That was a good one. I have some trouble with that one too.'Do not judge or you too will be judged for in the same way you judge others you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.'Or at lest I think that's how it goes. It's taped up on my bed but it's dark and I can't see. Sorry I haven't been to your blog in so long and I've finally found a chance to do it! Yay!
