SDC, ACT, and ORS

Last Monday we went to Silver Dollar City!!! 

We all got season passes for Christmas and so far we have been twice. 

Going to SDC is a big deal. It's a three hour drive, we have to pack food, we have to get up at 4:45 IN THE MORNING! But it is so worth it! 

We took Meg and Efum and Edgar from church and blasted off in our Ford space ship towards Branson Missouri. 

We rode rides, went in the knife shop, watched a dog show, and got wet. 

Actually, I didn't watch the dog show because Me, Lou, Lane, Jess, Mayf, and Edgar went off to ride the roller coasters. (And we rode outlaw run!) Mom texted and told us the dog show was about to start so we roamed around the park until we finally found it and it was locked. Locked? So Edgar decided the solution was to break in. That didn't work either. Some people nearby told us that it was a full house and they werent going to let anyone in. Bummer. So we went to ride the disco spin. FUN!

Lane and I took the ACT again last wednesday because neither of us were happy with our original scores. Now if you remember reading my last post about the ACT then you would know that the science prtion is not science. It's strategy. I read this ACT prep guide book and it laid out a decent strategy on how to take the science portion. Since there is like 35 minutes to do the test and about 40 questions, you have to have it timed just right. It went so much better this time! 6 points better to be exact. I scored a 26 on math, a 26 on science, a 26 on english, and a 33 on reading. 33! That made the score. I think that was the score I needed. 

And Lane got what she needed as well! HAPPY DAY! 

ORS, in case you were wondering, stands for Other Random Stuff... Today I don't have anything under that catagory so.. sorry.
